When I went to the East
the one near the West
Observed with too much of zest,
and now abandoned grey cinemas remind me of the Rest
of the world that westbound seemed grey,
the aftermaths of a past in decay.
Yet I miss those poor-friendly cements,
alas renewed by the Hitmen they sent.
They were grey
they just needed a socially necessary paint.
