RAIN

RAIN

How can you hinder the rain
you can rub it off
you may crave each of its drops

not in vain.

You can gather it all
and use it with love
'cause under the rain there is the “light”
that allows you to see the others' life,
repressed by the sky,
which is not a safe roof
but a wretched, battered one,
quickly built with no engineering proof.
Yet above the clouds there's the Sun,
a prospect of life that makes us constantly run.

The rain always wipes out present-day surplus dirt
yet too much rain will cause floods,
with rage and with love
with some blood

Piling up drops
piling up drops
one by one.

Some friends will be lost...
some friends will be lost...

for the life and the love you can't stop

the rain can't be won...
the rain can't be won...
the rain can't be won...
