ACCOMPANIED SOLITUDE

ACCOMPANIED SOLITUDE

Beyond Alleppey,
as a mutating small seed of barley
“accompanied solitude”
was what I felt, what did create
my deep hidden gratitude
that will never fade, or will never melt.
For I was travelling completely alone
but had talks, smiles and hugs to remember
like the day I was born
like Our class, so forlorn
like the dawns of September
like the unpaid oppressed Labour they render
like the blood of another
like the pain of the Others.

How to define the deepest of feelings,
removing our mask, is a truly hard task
Its methods, its shades keep on breeding,
like a world of smashed human feelings.

Like a world of surplus population
cast to unemployment, production-based alienation.
Of people with lives, loves and craves
With hands, heart and taste
Sent astray.
by the profit, the tide of those who can afford a say

My loves, please remember of me,
remind them of me.
Even if soon I may be there no more, by your side,
don’t leave any of us far behind.
My loves, please remember of us, all of us.
When the gang is asleep,
Will come at last the Ghosts of the Past.
