I AM

I AM

I am like a machine
that on life may be keen
Well, I embody alienation
intellectual marginalisation
I embody the dirt of the past
the glory of tomorrow, I follow,
the errors of present, I present.
I am the Marxist who can't smile with Oprah
or Priyanka Chopra.

I am the river that you cannot stop.
I am the cold deep blue ocean
you cannot heat up,

where the immigrants drown.

Yes, I take all their shouts,
here with me, one by one,
stored in my mind,
all locked up.

I'm the cold moon that is always neglected
by the shams of society disgusted
with so many scars
yet so very far

that goes sunbathing at five
and observes in the night.
